The bishops of Minnesota are in communication with the Governor’s Office, the Minnesota Department of Health, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and the Minnesota Catholic Conference with regard to lifting the suspension of public Masses in Minnesota, as well as what protocols would be required when public Masses are resumed. As of today, nothing definite has been decided. Please continue to pray that as soon as it is deemed safe, with protocols in place, public Masses can be resumed.
So for the next couple of weeks, there will be no public Masses. The May 3rd bulletin went to press on Tuesday, April 28 so please note that no Masses scheduled next week will be publicly celebrated at our area churches. Fr. Jeremy will continue to say Mass privately each day and the Mass intentions will be offered.
When we are allowed to resume public Mass we may need help securing some supplies to do so safely. If anyone in our parishes is able to make some face masks and donate them to church for those who don’t have one or is able to obtain hand sanitizer for parishioners to use in church, please let us know.
Father Jeremy will be going to each of our area churches today, May 1st, to reconsecrate each parish to Mary, Mother of the Church. This in conjunction with all the bishops of the US and Canada who are participating in this reconsecration of our nation to Our Lady during this time of pandemic.
Thanks, God Bless and Stay Safe!
